Since I completely goofed up and whetted your appetite with a 2015 Roanoke Code Camp (which didn’t happen), I’d like to give you an alternative.

On June 6th, the North Carolina Microsoft Users Group is organizing their 2015 Spark Conference. The event runs from 8AM until 6PM, and sports sessions in 12 different rooms. There is a design track, 5 developer tracks, a Hack-a-ton, and tracks on the Internet Of Things, IT Professional, Soft Skills, Startup, and STEM.

Admission is free, lunch is provided, and at the end of the day is a keynote and giveaways. The only cost is transportation, and if applicable a $5 parking fee. Sign up as soon as possible, since registration closes May 31st.

And if you go, make sure to say hi to our previous presenters Brian Lanham and Joel Cochran, who both will hold a talk at the Spark Conference.

Hope to see you there!
